had some Shawarma at Helen's afterwards, best Shawarma in town!

yummy ..one aint enough - usually i'll order two! :)
then on Saturday went to eat Nasi Lemak at Malaysian Hall with Mei Ying early in the morning.

check out the girl in the background (left side) that's Vanida Imran!! in London! Droooolllll... :)
here's a zoomed in version of the same pic

oh vanida, your performance in 'Anak Mami 2' shall be remembered by moi forever...
I think Vanida was in town for the Malaysian Festival Week promoting her film 1957.
After the Nasi lemak , I went to do abit shopping around Oxford Circus, bought some TM Lewin shirts and matching cufflinks - there is a sale going on now so a shirt cost about 25 quids where as usually it will be 40 pounds like that. Bought 3 shirts!
afterwards, I checked out the Malaysian Festival held at Potters Field Park , right next to the London Bridge

what a nice location

good turnouts as well

I will post more pics from the show later , but I did manage to sketch a few pictures while watching the band Istamusika perform :

that's Dato Suhaimi or Pak Ngah - top traditional music producer/composer playing the accordion. He composed the song Cindai (sung by Siti Nurhaliza 'how's the moustache?') and also Hati Kama sung by both Siti and Noraniza Idris (how's the husband doin? son still angry at you? :P )

That's Norehan , gambus/lute/oud player from Istana Budaya
I need to get one of 'em Gambus! I've got an accordion already as you all have already known hehe..
well will post more pics later.time to go for lunch! think i will do italian today, quattro formagi pizza or 4 cheese pizza..yum
